RI Convention: Bangkok

Time to start thinking about the next international conference. Our DG elect is looking to meet other 5050 members at the conference.

RI Convention: Bangkok, Thailand

Dates: May 6 to 9, 2012

This email is being sent to all Rotarians in District 5050.

If you are considering going to the International Convention or just want more information, please email me at shogan@buckleyhogan.com and I’ll include you in future emails.

Future emails will be sent only to those who have asked to be included, and to club Presidents and Presidents-Elect.

Why Attend?

This will be by far the least expensive trip you could ever take to Thailand.

The Thai government has provided Rotary with a $9.4 million grant (yes, that’s $9,400,000.00) which is being used for discounts on registration, hotels and flights.

Registration cost is only $160 - the cheapest in over 25 years - for registration by December 1, 2011

Hotels start around $75 per night and there are many choices in the $75 to $110 range.

Discounted Flights start at 10% off both economy and business (more for those with Class Y/B or C/J status) from THAI Airways and its Star Alliance partners - including United Airlines and Air Canada.
