Random Act of Kindness
Random Act of Kindness Double Hitter!
I got to watch the eyes of my caretaker dance when she received the beautiful flowers that we all donated to for the random acts of kindness. Her and her husband started up an artist event in the apartment I live in and she did not expect this at all. I thought it was a great community building event and in the spirit of Rotary. When I told her it was a random act of kindness from our Rotary Club she said that she would pay it forward.
There was $36.75 in the pot and I gave $20 to a rather sad, frail looking older man in a MacDonald’s in Vancouver on the Festival of Lights night. He looked startled!
