Random Act of Kindness

andra's Eyes Were Sparkling ... and she was laughing as she and I counted the $37.50 from the Acts of Kindness Rotary baggie and put it into her penny pail. The night before Sandra had brought out her bucket to the Friends of Sandra La Marre's general meeting to see if we had any pennies to donate. She explained that the pennies would help to buy "toys for kids that needed Christmas presents". She is helping Share and The Now with this project. Sandra is a great volunteer. Mondays, she takes band aids out of boxes and stamps school immunizations records for the Simon Fraser Health Unit, Tuesdays she puts together New Mom packages at the Hospital but on Fridays, for one hour, she is an employee at the Bank. Some of the pennies that she earned went into her pail. She has also helped us decorate the Manor in the past. Sandra is 28, has Cerebral Palsy and is an Inspiration. Auntie Cleone
