Lots going on as usual.

The Search for the Perfect Pint is coming along well. Jason and the committee are doing a great job.
The sponsorship target has been exceeded, the number of breweries signed up has exceeded the initial target.
Ticket sales, we think are going well. Ron was doing some gorilla marketing in the Well last Friday night,
6 tickets were sold, and quite a number of people were interested in buying tickets shortly.

Rotarians At Work Day is coming up on April 27th. This is a day intended to get Rotarians out working on hands
on projects. Good news for us, the tentative schedule to load one of our containers to South Africa is on April 27th.
This would be a great way to participate in Rotarian At work Day.

Governor Elect Denis’ club, Coquitlam, has arranged a great evening of soccer entertainment as Vancouver Whitecap FC’s President and local legend, Bob Lenarduzzi, will speak to Rotarians on team building and leadership on May 18th at BC Place, just prior to the game with the LA Galaxy. Tickets only $30. Email Terry Colton at tiantisailing@gmail.com by April 15.
Kathy and I are going to go, lets get a group signed up, let me know if you want to go. This would classify as a make up in the drive for 5.

The Rotoract club is having a fund raiser Bingo night and are looking for prizes. The following is what they need, let Kimberley know if you can help out.

As you know, we are holding a bingo night fundraiser with Castle Park Elementary to raise money for an all accessible playground. Currently we are working on gathering donations for our prize baskets. I wanted to ask if your club would be interested in helping us with donations for our baskets? The ones we are still working on getting items for are:
1. Toy basket
2. Spa basket (ie spa giftcard, towels, soaps, lotions, bath salts , tea)
3. Cooking/ Baking basket (ie. cookbooks, aprons, measuring cups, decorating kit, sprinkles etc)
4. Beach Basket (ie. beach balls, pails, shovels, towels, sunscreen, sunglasses)
5. Game Night basket (ie. deck of cards, board games, popcorn, snacks, candies, chocolate)
6. Art basket (ie. crayons, paints, paper, glitter, construction paper, pencils etc)
The district conference is on Saturday, let look at car pooling.

The NewZealand GSE team visit is coming up at the end of April. Should be a great week. Ann, Nick and my self are going to be
hosting members. Stay tuned on opportunities to get involved with this young group of professionals.

A few of us got together for a Poker night. Great fun was had by all.
This was Ann's first Poker game, she was a great sport about it. Rumor has
it that she did not sleep well after the game. She kept waking up yelling "All IN", "Should I raise", "How much should I bid?"
Peter can be seen below congratulating the eventual winner.... Jason is the chip leader accepting feed back from Peter.
