What a great team! You people are genuinely awesome! Just look at what we have undertaken in the past few weeks. We have decorated Eagle Ridge Manor. We have cooked and served lunch for the residents at the two InnerVisions houses. We have packed Christmas hampers for the Food Bank – HUNDREDS of them! We have sold hot chocolate at the Christmas Train and raised a record $812.98! (and one HK$2 coin!) this last almost cost Peter a finger! Some sheet metal guy! While doing all this we continued working on projects like Search For The Perfect Pint, a project that is really taking shape due to a terrific effort on the part of Jon, Peter, Ian, Keith and the various other heroes on the team. We had a very successful Christmas Cruise, Thanks to Cleone and her team. Also there is a 10th anniversary party in the ramp stages of organization. We shipped a much needed container to our friends in Belize and a multitude of other things are in the works as well. And we had a great deal of fun through it all! This all goes to show two very important things; For one, we make a real and very valuable contribution to our community, both the local one we see around us every day and the vast international one we can't really see, but that we feel in our hearts every day; For two, we can accomplish great things with heart, hope and hard work, even without the 4th "H" hard cash! With the three "H's" we do have and the generous support of key sponsors, like Thrifty Foods donating some food stuffs, I think we probably came through this time and ended up with more money in our accounts than we started with. Again………..WHAT A GREAT TEAM
