Presidents Message

Hi Everyone

We had a wonderful time at District Conference on the weekend. I was joined by Gary, Hazel, Nick, Patty, Don, Cleone and Trudy.
The message from Rotary is very compassionate, we are reminded of the good things we achieve with our service.
The fellowship was wonderful, the wine was not to bad either!

 On Saturday the flash mob to end Polio was staged downtown, very fun event.

Next year the event will be held in Whistler, please start planning to attend if you can.

We have the installation for Jon (de-installation for me) on Tuesday night. I'm looking forward
to a fun night. We should have close to 50 people in attendance. Remember this our official
meeting this week, their is no meeting on Wednesday.

The Tri City Rotaract club now has a regular venue, thanks to the Coquitlam sunrise club.
The meet every second Wednesday starting this week at room 136 at the Coquitlam center library complex at 7PM.
Please try and attend and support them when you have a chance.

We had a nice farewell the the New Zealand GSE team on the weekend. Fine group of people. We also met our
outbound team who reported on their trip.

It looks like the great Rotarians of Port Moody contributed over $19,000 to RI funds during this past year. This includes Paul Harris and Polio plus.
Without your support global programs would not be possible.
