Presidents Message

At our last club meeting, At our last club meeting, Gary Wiggins informed our members that we are on pace to exceed our 2008 Rotary Foundation goal of $5500.00. These funds raised through member donations, happy and sad bucks, $3.00 breakfast donations and other fund raising activities "make dreams real" for many individuals locally and internationally through needed projects. Presently we have a great number of our club members contributing to our Rotary International Foundation funding. Breakdown: - Paul Harris Fellows - 12 - 25.5% - Multiple Paul Harris Fellows - 6 - 12.8% (Contributes $1000.00 or more to Rotary International Foundation) Sustaining Paul Harris Fellows ($100.00 per year) - Contributing Members - 39 - 83% Gary gave us a "Foundation Minute" outlining what specifically $100.00 per year provides to needy families. Clean water, polio vaccine, wheelchairs are just a few of the items YOUR funds help Rotary continue "Service Above Self" work world wide.
