In talking with the other Rotary Club Presidents I realize how committed these clubs are in their own communities
PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE I have just returned from a meeting regarding the upcoming Rotary International Day, going over the details for the Tri-Cities Rotary Clubs display at the Coquitlam Centre for Friday and Saturday, Feb 22/23rd. In talking with the other Rotary Club Presidents I realize how committed these clubs are in their own communities. But it is evident to me that we stand out! The Rotary Club of Port Moody is really a high-energy club, with an abundance of truly committed members. When there is a project that needs volunteers or help, it is never a problem! When we are looking for new ideas, we always have several members coming up with new and creative ones. It is such a help to me, as President, to seek out different members who have such sound judgment in many different disciplines, coupling this with the members that have such knowledge and history of Rotary matters, it makes my job so much easier! The "knock" I hear about Rotary is that we are always patting our self's on the back, while this might be true in some cases, I think as far as our Club is concerned,???? it is justified!
