President's message # 20

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE This Christmas proves to be really a significant one, as far as Club Members volunteering for all the events that we have planned this year. Fourteen (14) ! of us showed up to help at "Innervisions" Prairie and Miller House last Tuesday. What a great turnout! Innervisions is a very special and caring organization where they are helping alcohol and drug users to get off their addictions and back into a normal and fulfilling life style. A very hard task indeed for the men that have signed up. Our Club has been associated with this project for several years, bringing a little joy and happiness to these brave souls is such a significant gesture. Thank you for helping out! Christmas is nearly here! Are you all ready? Decorations up, presents bought and wrapped? Food planned, baked and roasted? I hope so and I hope none of you are stressed out, as this can be a very stressfull time. So sit down, take a deep breath, have a sip of your favorite beverage and feel how lucky we are compared to others ! Maybe pick the phone up and call someone, friend or family, that you have not been in contact with. That someone you always meant to contact, but never had the time, do it soon, it brings joy to both of you. Cindy and I wish all of you a very HAPPY CHRISTMAS and a healthy and prosperous New Year.
