President's message

As we move into December our club has many community events and projects which require our members to volunteer their time and energy to make these events successful. Starting with the "Manor" decorating party last Saturday, a strong contingent of our members decorated the inside and outside of Eagle Ridge Manor, put up the lights for the Chrismas season, and made the residents of the manor feel an image of the festive season was kicked into high gear. Over the next couple of weeks, you will be asked to sign up for several important community activities our club sponsors or initiates during the December time frame. Please commit your volunteer time for at least 1 of these events, and hopefully, you will feel compelled to book time for additional events. Sunday December 7th - "Manor" Christmas Party for Residents Afternoon event, Santa will be there! Tuesday December 16th - Chili Luncheon at 2 Inner Vision Houses Linda will be providing sign up sheets Wednesday December 17th - Joint Club Christmas Luncheon Vancouver Golf Club Friday December 19th - Santa Christmas Train - Queen St. Plaza We supply hot chocolate, coffee to 1000 local participants.
