PP Gayle Carter - District Committee Chair for District Grants

PP Gayle did a wonderful presentation on the 'New District Grants'....

All District Grant requests must follow the guidelines as set out in the Policy Manual

Only Clubs that are District qualified may apply

Average of $1.00 of club funds matched by District Funds

Clubs can apply for Grants between $500.00 - $10,000.00

All projects must have Rotarian involvement can not be a 'cheque writing exercise'

Clubs can apply for more than 1 Grant, but the Club MUST prioritize their request as there is only $98,000.00 to give out

All Pre-Grant proposals must be submitted by September 30th, 2013

Grant approvals will be given by November 1st., 2013.

Clubs will have 90 Days from Pre-Grant approval to submit the 'detailed' District Grant application

When final Grant approval is given, the club has 18 months to complete the project

Clubs will not be given the District funds 'upfront'

Each Grant MUST have a separate Bank Account
