The Port Moody Library is looking for our help. They plan to offer free tax filing services for low income people this year..a first for this great service. They can do this with only a couple of volunteers..can you..or someone you know .. help out? The requirements are:
take 1 to 2 online training sessions..each session is about 30 mins long
be available and commit to some Monday afternoons from 2 to 5, during March and April
be in good standing with CRA yourself.you will be given an "e-file" registration with CRA
This service is very important to low income earners..it ensures they will continue to receive benefits like the GST refund.
Can you help...let me know and I will connect you to Maryn Ashdown ..our former member and librarian at POMO Library.
Thanks all, Trudy
