No birthdays this week but we sang to Jim McG..his was last week and we wanted him to know we were missing him and glad to see him back from his travels.

President Al thanked two club members for their recent contributions..our great Secretary Alan S..for also pitching in on  SFPP and the Golf Tournament and being President in waiting once removed..also known as President Nominee. Also thanks to Trudy for ecxtra suppport with Hike for Hospice.

Announcements:

Search for the Perfect Pint..Jason was able to tell us that The Well, Thriftys, Onyx and Pasta Polo all confirmed for food sponsors..yeah! Great news!  Also have 12 breweries confirmed and we are at $6000 for Sponsorships...please use your networks to try to encourage more sponosrships..business cards are only $125..other levels available at $250/$500 and $1000.  We have Westwood Honda and the Well as major sponosrs. We are having another psoter drive on Saurday..10 am at Gallaghers..coffee on Pres Al.  Keith has offered to help do some pub walks promoting tickets..can anyone go with him..please let him know.  Ron areminds us to seell our tickets and turn in the cash asap..win Paul Harris Fellowship points!!

IMAGINE..the signature event for SHARE.  This is chaired by our own Scott Masse..who apparently can chair three major events at once...that must make for some pretty amazing multitasking!!  He has tickets for the event and also the raffle tickets. 

THE FALL CLASSIC...with great thanks to all..President Al gratefully accepted a cheques for our Club's share....a wonderful $16,160!!  Think of what good we will do with those funds..great work by everyone on the Golf Tournament Committee!! Thank you everyone!  The 2013 event will be here soon so mark the date. 

President Al also announced that we will be having a Club Pub night coning up at the Well later this month.  Tickets will be $25 and proceeds will go to Kids Camp .. invite your friends and neighbours to join you.

Sgt At Arms...our Julia..problably the lovliest Sgt at Arms in the history of Rotary ..but dont let that make you think she cant be tough..she can fine with the best of them!! But she didn't..we all eagerly paid up our happy dollars:

Darrell wore a great pink tie in support of anti bullying day
Pres Al congratulated Ron B..two days away from official retirement..what will he do with all that free time??
Isy ..great news on all the grants..our recent success has totalled $23,000 once matched.  If the three container grant goes through..it will be over $33,000.  Way to stretch a dollar!!
Vida is thankful for the great fabric donations from the Club for Days for Girls
Berit announced that she will be having a fashion show for kids Camp in April and maybe a Rotary shopping night with a percentage for the Club
Dan mentioned that Days for Girls also were pleased to recieve a pallette of linens passed on to them from RWA big thanks to Jason and Scott for leading SFPP and the Golf Tournament for us and for Isy for her work on the grants..first rate leadership!!
Julia wanted to thank her team for their work on Feb meetings and for the help from others like Steve W, who helped on cash today, for filling in some vacancies over the month.
