Our exchange student - My life in Canada February 2013
.......I went straight back to the top and continued enjoying the day with my new found friends.
In February I went on a ski weekend with the district 5050 in-bound students, it was 5 degrees threw out the weekend. Thursday Night I was introduced to the other exchange students that have been here for over 6 months they were really friendly. Friday we went on the slopes of Cypress. I had so much fun, snowboarding with the other exchange students, then the binding on my snowboard broke halfway down a slope so the rest of the slope was hard until I reached the bottom. The shop replaced the board, they kept apologizing for it breaking. I went straight back to the top and continued enjoying the day with my new found friends.

After snowboarding we watched a movie I even forget what movie it was, everyone was so tried we all went and laid down but no one slept till like 3 in the morning. We had to get up early, wasn’t happy. Saturday we shopped for the first half of the day then we went laser tagging , we had 4 teams x 2 games, my team came second then a first. I also won the free for all game. I enjoy the laser tag.
Saturday night we watched paranormal activity 4 everyone was scared then all of a sudden a glass cup falls off the coffee table freaked everyone out, so funny. Had so much fun that weekend. Great bunch of exchange students.
My host family and I went to their friend's place to watch the "Super bowl" game. American football, The Baltimore Ravens against The San Francisco 49ers. The Baltimore Ravens pulled off a win, The final score of the game was 34-31. During the game, an unprecedented thing happened – the power went out in over half of the stadium, causing a delay of over thirty minutes where there was no game play!
This month I also went and watch the Harlem Globetrotters with my host dad Chris, that was an amazing game of basketball they're such entertainers it was unbelievable, it’s hard to explain what was so good about it, you just have to see for yourself.
We have field trips in PE at school, I've been ice skating, laser tagging and tenpin bowling.
