The rest of the meeting was a reflection of the most successful RIBFEST our club has put on.
We had such a great turnout and the biggest and Best ever.
Thanks to all our members and friends for helping us reach goals and more.
The 50/50 will be presented to the winner at next weeks meeting. Stay tuned Frank is going to make sure we do this in person.
Alan Schmelzel was looking after all the setup and take down and did a wonderful job. There was some real challenges but in the end was all looked after and once again he made it all happen.  Thank you to Innervisions for all their help, with set-up and tear down.
Peter Muir had a massive job looking after the organization of all the volunteers. It was well run and no one will ever know just how much work it is to do this Job. Thanks you made it happen, and no one will ever know all you did.
Cleone did a wonderful job with the Kids zone. This has always been a high light of our RIBFEST and this year it went so smoothly. Congratulations! & her sister Lynette who comes every year to help Cleone.

Mike Clay gave us a complete update of the Best Ribber this year. Great contest . Prairie Smoke and Spice won best ribs and sauce, and Bos Hogs was the peoples Choice.

Ian McPhail said we had record sales of beer and ran out of some by 7pm on Sunday. There was only a few  left at the end of the day on Sunday. It was unbelievable how we broke all records of our sales. Even the pop, wine and all beverages. We wanted to note that all the corn at the corn hut was sold. The  VIP area was a big success and really well run , thanks Megan/Linda/Monica and all the volunteers. Money handled by Trish and her team.

Shawn & Monty were OUTSTANDING putting together a perfect IT group and flawless internet for us all.  So very well done.....

Bill and the Green team did an outstanding job again.....  How many steps?

Mike did an outstanding job getting sponsorships again this year.  WOW .  Thank you Mike

We had great music this year as usual, at one point and time there were a couple hundred people dancing in the park . Thanks to George Balzer and his team.

Parking lot was a big success thanks to Clayton

Biggest attendance with lots of people coming from the sky train. The revenues from Donations were the biggest we have ever had. Thank you to Gayle and her team.
The ice cream hut and vegetarian options were very successful.
Congratulations to all the members of Rotary for all their hard work and the most successful RIBFEST that we have ever put together.
In the months ahead the committee will meet to discuss the success’s and changes that need to be looked at.
Congratulations to all the committees and another successful RIBFEST.

A huge big thank you to Al S and his posse that came from far and wide to help again this year.  Oh my gosh those guys worked so hard in the bars and of course Rhonda who is Bill's right hand gal on the Green team.
They were:
Reg and Rhonda - Maple ridge
Peter - Nanaimo
Darrell and Carol -  Kamloops
Rob  - Prince George

Also we had our good friends Marc & Renee' come from Oro Valley, AZ to volunteer  at our RIBFEST.

We had a family affair helping as well, with our daughter Kari & Darren volunteering too.

And I can not let our biggest surprise ever when our daughter Jill and son-in-law Vince flew in from Atlanta to surprise us and volunteer.  I don't think I have ever run so fast to get to the stage to give her a hug crying all the way.  So special.

Rotary Picnic in the Park.......

Eagle Eyes were fantastic on Sunday and the picnic was great.  Thank you to all who came, brought food and enjoyed each other.  Also thank you to those who helped GB clean up the tents after.....That is a BIG help.!!!!

Thanks to Brian for the photos and to Rick for the suggestion to shout out to PP Paul.
