The annual Terry Fox Run has become a fall tradition in Canada, with more than 650 communities, big and small, urban and rural, English and French, fundraising for cancer research. This year, participate from wherever you are on Sunday September 19, One Day. Your Way! Around your neighbourhood, backyard, down the street or around the block.
 
October 2nd - Shred-A-Thon - please sign up and spread the word to all family and friends.  Please put poster up where you live and coffee shops you support.

WHAT: ROTARY ACTION CHALLENGE 2021
WHEN: October 1 - 31 2021
WHERE: It’s self directed/ virtual. So anywhere you want!
 
DETAILS: Ready Set Go! - The Rotary Action Challenge is an opportunity to take care of yourself and raise funds to support the local or global community in youth development, environmental protection, senior care, providing clean water, education, fighting disease, growing local economies and promoting peace. So how do you get in on this? The Rotary Action Challenge has 4 activities, walk/hike, run, swim or cycle, you can register for one or more. Within each activity there are 3 levels of challenge, pick the one that will stretch where you are now. You can also collect donations and pledges which increase the impact of your participation. We have prizes for top donation/pledges for individuals and teams.
You will get to enter your progress, compare your results in the challenge and in donations/pledges (if gathering).
We welcome teams too.
 
$35 REGISTRATION PER ACTIVITY INCLUDES:
 
1) Access to the Race Roster platform to track progress and collect donations/ pledges (for those who want to make even more of an impact!)
2) Participant package - a value of $50 each
3) Prizes for those who raise the most money by challenges through donations/pledges.
4) The physical and mental health benefits of movement!
5) The satisfaction of knowing you are making a positive difference in the community and the world.
