Hi there! I just wanted to say that my family and I had a blast at rib fest last night!
I wanted to give you major kudos for having a separate family beer garden for those of us with littles! What an awesome idea! Would have been nice to have had a little more shade for the family side (the adult only side had huge tents covering most of the beer garden) but we were totally prepared with our sunscreen and hats!
We are looking forward to next year's Rib Fest and we'll definitely bring more people!

Overview of the event
From the setting up on Thursday to opening on Friday till the close on Sunday RIBFEST ROCKED !!!! and take down on Monday...... The RED SHIRTS were amazing......The music created the VIBE [Thank you George ] and everyone had so much fun from the KIDS ZONE [Cleone & Dan] to the BEER GARDEN [Al & Meghan] , Gayle, Jeannie & Jen's ribrunners.... with Darrell and Mike leading the orders.....to the VIBE co-ordinators [ Coreen and Yvonne] and BILL's recycle team along with Kathy S ....it all worked...YES we need a DEBRIEF so next year will be bigger and better. Thank you to ALAN for your leadership, to Ian for all the logistics to Al making sure the BAR was well staffed and to Trudy who found people for places that needed to be filled even though we had to scout the park to find people. EVERYONE in the club worked their 'buns' off and our ROTARY CLUB of Port Moody is stronger than ever. GREAT JOB everyone !!!! [ps If I didn't name you, we know exactly how hard you worked and sorry for missing you] Every single person in our Club helped make this a huge success and you should be very proud. Also thank you to all the spouses that worked so hard and were available to do 'anything' when asked.
AND without the 650 volunteers this could not have happened.
