We are meeting 'in person', tomorrow, Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at the 'Well', 7:00 AM. [we will have zoom as well if you can't make it] BUT our speaker will be Malcom Kennedy from the Coquitlam Sunrise Club - in person......

We had our first 'in person' meeting last week at Rocky Point Park. The weather was beautiful, the Rotary tent was up, and we had fun. Puppies, ice cream and presentations.

President Coreen gave Patty a certificate for all the work she has done with the Youth. Interact, Rotaract, RYLA, RYA.....and Patty has passed to torch to Steve who is doing an excellent job with Youth & New Generations
After the meeting some went to the Well and 'well' the food looked amazing.
International: Interactors making a big difference.
Some Pics received from Sharon at Kenya Connect. www.kenyaconnect.org Thanks to Steve and Interactors water tanks are now under construction at Muthetheni and Mang'olota (two schools in Machakos County, east of Nairobi, Kenya). At Muthetheni, some of the parents also contributed gravel to use in the cement. Everyone in the community is grateful that Rotary and the Interact Clubs are helping to bring clean water to the schools.

HOUSTON – During a joint news conference held at George R. Brown Convention Center, Rotary and Houston First Corporation representatives announced that more than 20,000 service-minded people from around the world will gather in Houston for Rotary’s 113th annual international convention on June 4-8, 2022.
