Great meeting April 23

Once again the Rotary Club of Port Moody had a good fun meeting. President Jon was in fine form again.  It was Brian's birthday and Keith and Heather celebrated their 39th anniversary.....

Gaetan talked about the design for Mossom Creek Hatchery and 3 fundraisers are planned to help pay for this project.  There will be a Zumba Fundraiser on Friday, May 9.  A Hatchery Hot Trivia Night on May 23rd and a BBQ Gala & Silent Auction on Sunday July 13th.

Ron is wanting your money from the SFPP...If you need more tickets, please let him know.  Looks like a 

'sell-out' once again....Great job SFPP Committee!!!!

Peter gave out the 'great' news that the Hockey Pool is over and the winners were not from our Club.  BUT the 'bottom dwellers' did get their money back.  Good job on the Pool Peter and Brian is happy to get money back.

Cleone, Julia and Ann were at the Rotary Bike Trials Park opening.  And speaking of Ann, she will be absent from the Club for almost 6 months.  No, there is nothing wrong with her, she is TRAVELLING !!!!  Way to go Ann!!!  Ann has promised to send me notes of her travels so we can 'follow along' with her.

Darrell did a great job as our Guest Speaker talking about the homeless in Vancouver area.  

I didn't remind you, but will now, to please mark May 10th on your calendar to come and help 'pack' the container for Belize.  It is always fun to 'pack to the roof' items that will be so valued in another Country.  Thank you for your help.

Also if you are planning to come to Installation night and have not yet notified me, please let me know as soon as possible.  June 12th is the date and promises to be a fun night. Also please let me know if you are bringing a 'guest'....If you are bringing a guest, please bring me your $50.00 for them.  Thanks

District 5050 Conference is coming up on May 1st in Whistler, and we have a great group from our Club attending.  PP Isy has been so busy helping/doing all the organizing for this Conference.  Isy knows how to throw a party, so we all know we will have a great time.  Thanks for all the work you have done and we know we will have fun.
