Generous Hearts

Fellow Port Moody Rotarians. This is your opportunity to be as generous with your time as you have been in the past, and with your wallets on an ongoing basis. On Satuday October 2 and Sunday October 3 2010 we will hold the second of these very crucial food drives in support of the SHARE Tri-Cities Food Bank, and involving the four Tri-Cities Rotary Clubs and multiple major Grocery stores The event will run from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day. Please respond to this email with the number of hours you can let us have on one or both days and a preferred time slot. I will do my best to fit you into your preferred window. Our Club has only one store to worry about. The other clubs have at least two each. It is possible that their requests for volunteers will come up short as they did in February. Some of us, in the spirit of Rotary, may be needed to supplement their ranks, as we did in February. Please indicate in your response if you are unable to work outside of Port Moody. We had fun and did essential good works last time around and when Peter Cuthbert ran the very successful Christmas in July effort at Thrifty's last July. The community needs us.
