Hi Lorraine

Further to our recent conversation I would on behalf of our Rotary Club ask if we can be given any excess stock from Kimberley Clark to help the many indigent people in the Border area.
Through our Club members and through an NGO “Robin Good” we distribute food, clothing and other products to needy black people in our rural areas.

I am enclosing three pictures taken during our winter. The ladies below are part of a group that waits every Friday afternoon, with their babies, in the hope of receiving pads and diapers.

The family, in the pictures below, is an interesting one, not typical but becoming a more common occurrence in our part of the world. The lady on the right, Bulewa, has a number of children, including her 15 year old son, Amahle center, who suffers from cerebral palsy. Her 18 year old daughter, Avewe, is standing on the left of these pictures. Both mother and daughter, currently have infants of about the same age. Standing in front of his grandmother is Avewe’s 3 and a half year old son. The whole family relies on Govt. grants. Our Club has supplied the lad with a wheel chair and adult diapers.
