Rotary has sent over 17 million dollars of aid to the people of the Ukraine

At the end of a Rotary year we sometimes loose very valuable members.  This year is no exception.  Terry Miller will not be renewing his membership with Rotary, but he 'is' a Rotarian at heart and will be coming out to volunteer for any of the events that he can.  You will be missed Terry, and thank you so much for all you have done for our Rotary Club.

We are also sad to see May leave.  May has gone back to school but again she and her husband will be coming out to events to help.  Thank you to May and Lee.

Aziz has decided not to renew his membership BUT like May will be helping us with many of our projects.  Aziz was instrumental in getting the 'virtual experience' for Kids Zone and will be helping again this year.  He also always comes to RIPS and Shred-a-Thon to help out.    Thank you Aziz for all you have done for Rotary over the years.  We 'will' keep in touch.

The theme for this coming Rotary year is:  Create Hope in the World

Trish drew the logo for all the Club members to sign and presented it to President Elect Susan at the meeting.

Great idea and well done everyone....
Next up !!!!!????
50/50
Please send this along to your friends, family, neighbours and anyone else you can think of.  Wouldn't it be fantastic to have a 'huge' 50/50

Our Colossal 5050 Draw is a big part of RibFest.  This year our goal is a $225,000 jackpot with half going to the lucky winner.

The four Rotary Clubs of the tri-cities join in this lottery with the collective goal of making a big impact in Port Moody, Coquitlam, and Port Coquitlam.

5050 proceeds go to Rotary projects and fantastic local organizations doing great things.  Just imagine:

  • Feeding school kids through a Rotary Starfish program

  • Improving accessibility at an environmental centre

  • Sending kids to camp

  • Improving parks and trails

  • Supporting seniors

  • Helping people with addictions

We can do these things and more!

Join us in supporting community projects by purchasing a 5050 ticket today! Your contribution will make a difference in the lives of those in our community.

Rotary is a global network of community leaders dedicated to making a positive impact. To help Rotary make your community stronger, consider joining a local Rotary club, volunteering for their events and initiatives, or buying a 5050 ticket. Together, we can create a better world.

It has been a year since Carol passed. In her honour, our son John will be riding with the Cops For Cancer this September - 800 km from Boston Bar to Delta. He is a casual biker only - so this is a very long bicycle ride for him. If you would like to support John, you can donate by using the QR code below or going to https://support.cancer.ca/.../CopsforCancer/COPS_NW_even_...
