Donations to Rotary School District 43 Dictionary Project

During the months of October through December '2007 the Rotary Clubs located in Port Coquitlam, Port Moody and Coquitlam will be distributing over 2000 dictionaries to all Grade 4 students in School District 43.
The Rotary Clubs are organizing this project so that our youth will have available one more tool for developing their learning skills. Today, many of the students in our school system come from a variety of countries where their first language is not English. The Dictionary will become a valuable asset to the students and will assist them with having a better understanding for learning the English language.
The more each of us help the youth of our community today, the better chance these young individuals will have for succeeding on the journey that lies ahead of them.
We invite you to become a part of this project by making a donation to assist Rotary with the purchase of the dictionaries. The cost of each book is approximately $10, and you are welcome to sponsor as many children as you wish. Your kind generosity would be greatly appreciated in helping Rotary give the youth of our community the best opportunity to succeed.
Our goal is for sustainability of this Rotary project through Community Support.
