Sara Arthur from Rotaract joined us today.
Sara was presented with a cheque to Rotaract for all the work they did in the CORN HUT for RibFest.
Marilyn & Wade who helped us 'in the Parking' for RibFest came and talked about the TreeFest at Riverview grounds.
Gayle was thrilled with our new 'STAMP' for our Little Lending Library....and Jeannie & Peter photo bombing !!
President Mike gave Dave Stone the 'Rotarian who makes a Difference' pin today for starting off his year as the MC
Jerome Bouvier from Access for Youth was our guest speaker today and today he brought us up to date on the Youth in Our Community.
They have many programs for our YOUTH and "THE BUS" is their signature one. They service the Youth between the ages of 12-23 and the bus is out in our Community Friday and Saturday nights from 7-12PM.
Access also has a "Mall-Based outreach' when 2 workers are at our mall Thursday and Friday from 3 - 8PM. They are dressed in their purple shirts and connect with youth and provide any support they may need.

Jerome gave us all a challenge.....When you see youth anywhere, say HI !!! Ask them how they are and you will be letting them know that you CARE.
Access is having a 'fun' fundraiser on October 1st. at Poirier Arena tickets will be $10.00 each.
