Belize
You have heard us all talk about Cisco in Belize, well here he is:  Great Humanitarian !!!!!

Al, Brian and Glen were very fortunate to have some time with the CEO (Deputy Minister) of the Belize Education System, Dian Maheia, along with Namrita Balani, Director of Science and Technology for the department. We were accompanied by our masterful Belizian Host Rotarian, Cisco Woods.
Our discussion focused on literacy and the "reading recovery" following extended school closures over Covid. The ministry has been following our deployment of RACHEL servers and literacy training at Belize Central Prison and St. Martins School. Our discussion turned to the needs of a small number of rural schools in Belize (about 15) still without electricity and internet. Perhaps another Global Grant....?
