Container 300

Hi everyone.

Well we done it. With the help of many Rotarians and others from across Metro Vancouver this morning we loaded the 300th container which is destined for Kenya. That all adds up to $105 million in replacement value of goods and equipment to 57 countries touching/assisting an estimated 9 million people in developing countries. A terrific achievement for a made in B.C. Rotary project which is now 15+ years old and still thriving. I am thrilled for the unwavering support of our club and members who come out and volunteer their time to assist with loading. To recognize the occasion this morning we were delighted to have Mayor Richard Stewart and MLA Linda Reimer (both Rotarians) as well as DG Denis Boyd and wife Maureen and ADG Clive Evans all join us to celebrate this very special achievement.
