First of all..just to confirm..our meeting this week will be held at the Well as usual..we have a great number coming..considering the timing and numbers that are away!  Thanks to all who replied to me about  coming.

I wanted to add my own words of thanks to  earlier messages from Linda and Peter regarding the amazing and healing Chili lunch and the festive celebrations of the train. I cant believe how we managed to hold 3 major events in 4 days ..our elves were working overtime and have spread the magic of Christmas..like gold dust..behind them..wherever they went!

To Peter and the Train Crew...great job.  I was inside, doing the cookie decorating with my sister..Vida and facepainter Mya, from Nufloors, turned countless lovely little faces into works of art!  It was a chaotic but happy place..Santa Hugh was there for photos and it was great to see the families all  filled with the Christmas spirit. Great job all..and also thanks to SHARE and Chris from the City of Port Moody for  making sure it all went smoothly.  I understand the sugar cookies and sprinkles were donated from Thriftys and the bags and bags of icing were from Christine's Catering.  What we can do when we all come together!1

From the Chilli lunch on Thursday ..to the Train on Saturday..that just left The Manor party yesterday to round out our seasonal events. Great thanks to Ann and Jeannie for all their organizing for the event..and who, along with Terry..made sure that Santa Hugh had pictures taken with all the Manor Residents.  We also had support from a group of Rotaractors lead by their President Chantal.  Residents and families alike all had a wonderful time.  We also had great support from Manor staff and volunteers..cake, coffee and punch was served to the very full room in record time!  More elves at work!!

Thanks also to Cleone who laid the ground work for all this to happen I hope to see many of you on Wednesday..but if you are not at the meeting, let me take this opportunity to wish you and your families the best of Christmas..a heart filled with family, friends, peace and love.

Merry Christmas to all!   Trudy
