Message of Hope bags
We received a message from Julie Kingsley:

We shared some of the Message of Hope bags with a recovery house Talitha Khum in Port Coquitlam as the ladies living there used join us at our Warm Place for Women dinner. I wanted to share the feedback from the executive director with you....❤️

These bags are just fabulous; they are perfect for the women! Thank you so much for all your assistance in facilitating the gift exchange from the Port Moody Rotary

With much gratitude,

Mary
Love is all around us !!!!

Special Thanks to Ian & Frank for getting the ball rolling for  RIBFEST 2021.  Alan, Al & Mike are also main stays with this leadership and we have many new members coming 'on board' to help.  Great job everyone.

Christmas looks like fun at the Witiuk home...and Santa showed up early......
Santa stopped by to see if Lauralea’s sleigh would work for Christmas & to check out Lexie’s new stocking.  Just some of the projects Lauralea has completed this month.

President Elect Coreen has been busy making stockings......just beautiful

Belize - Thank you to Cisco for sending this photo.
Dave Stone:
Did a hike in Belcarra regional park.
Dave made a Christmas card of this.....Great idea.
Alan K: Dog walking at Barnet Marine Park
Daisy and her friend Hudson......2 beauties for sure

Claire:
We managed to gather about 300 items of clothing between Sophie at Charles Best and the Interactors as well as bags from the community.  All washed and folded. All in great shape.
New underwear and socks were abundant, and some gift cards for compensation where needed.
We rounded up 20 sleeping bags for $23. a bag (less than cost) from Canadian Tire Poco and Coquitlam.
Received loads of Toiletries and purchased with some of the Cash donations where we fell short - there was a lot!
We managed to have some specific items purchased, like a pair of work boots for a young man that just started a job and was saving to buy some so he could keep his new job in a warehouse...he has no parents.
There was a young dad too...he just finished his first year apprenticeship while going to high school and being a new parent.

There were $4700 given in gift cards.
There was a cheque given for $1700 to CABE to use at their own discretion for items we fell short on.

There were shoes donated by kids and coats too...all in amazing shape.
Hair cuts for all 13 kids donated by Refresh Salon, Cobbs gave them each a gift card too.

We are so lucky.

Merry Christmas.
