This is another busy Rotary week with the Search for the Perfect Pint and the Share Food Bank drive.

This past weekend we packed a container for South Africa!  Unfortunately, I was called away for business and couldn’t be there but it sounds like it went well.   We have received a bunch of pictures from Isy which has already been posted on the website.  Thank you to everyone who helped. I know the recipients in SA will be very appreciative.

We are also awaiting the imminent arrival of our matching grant dollars for the containers, thanks to Isy.  I know this is a lot of work and we really appreciate the effort that Isy has been putting into these projects!  Well done!

Speaking of dollars, we also received a District Simplified Grant this week.  It feels like Christmas has come early!

The Search for the Perfect Pint is upon us!  We all look forward to another exciting event thanks to the organizers under the leadership of Jon Dominy and Al Stjernegaard.  Please come out and support the event, either as a volunteer or a guest.  This is one of our two larger fund raising events which make everything we do possible.  See you at the City Hall on Thursday evening.

This coming weekend, we are collecting donations of food and cash for Share Food Bank, thanks to the sterling work of Ron Baker.  Thanks Ron and everyone who has volunteered.  There are many hungry mouths to feed.

Thanks again to our many sponsors and supporters for all our events.
