Happy Thanksgiving to all our US friends.  I wonder if it is just my imagination or do they make a bigger event of it than we do?

I have been thinking about my will and the fact that I haven't paid much attention to it in quite a while.  I had the Red Cross as a beneficiary but not Rotary!  I am going to complete one of those bequest forms and if you want I can get you a form too.  Let me know if you will be joining me.  I know quite a few of you have already done so.  Well done!

The Rotary Foundation's goal is for every rotarian to be sustaining member every year.  Their slogan is "Every Rotarian Every Year".  To do that you need to contribute $100 per year.  Some of us do $3 per week at our club meeting. I also like the suggestion that Jane Helten made this week.  If you put 30 cents into a box every day you will have $105.60 at the end of the year. That is one latte a week.

This weekend, we decorated the Eagle Ridge Manor.  We had great weather which was a treat for Peter Cuthbert and I who took care of the outside lights.  Unfortunately, three of the strings of LED lights we replaced last year, were broken and had to be replaced but we had a good time doing it.  Most of the action was inside where Vida and Cleone took the lead.  I must say the decorations look great and thanks to Brian and son Liam, Jason (who brought his nephew and niece),  Julia and I am sure I forgot a number of people.  Have a look at a few pics...

A reminder to the board that our next meeting is on Monday, November 28th.

Remember to sign up to help at the many projects we have going because many hands make light work!
