Bob Blacker was our guest speaker this morning and what a great story he had on Rotary's "Write to Read" project for which Bob was a founder.

Bob is a Past District Governor, has been with Rotary for 18 years and served 30 years with New Westminster Police Department attaining the rank of Inspector. Also was a recipient of the Queens Golden & Diamond Jubilee Medals for his work with Government House & First Nation Communities.

In case you missed it I have added the video link below from CBC TV which explains what the project is, what it has done and what it is planning. Bob is another shining example of what Rotary is all about and why we matter. In addition to our Rotary motto the "Write to Read" project started with. What is it ?, Can we do it? and let's get it done!
