All about RibFest
Always nice to see visiting us from the Port Coquitlam Centennial Club Karly and Gay Simms
Yvonne joined us again and this time she had wonderful news. Yvonne and her husband Andy Berrisford joined the District 5050 ROTARY PASSPORT CLUB. The Passport Club requires that you meet 4 times a year and you can volunteer in any Rotary Club you wish. Thank you to Coreen for putting this altogether. AND it is a GREAT day when we induct a new member into our Rotary Club and we inducted John Crowther today. John was a former member of the Ladysmith Club and has moved to Port Moody with his wife Cheryl.
PP Al was Sgt. At Arms and was already giving our newest member John a hard time. Good fun !!!! Something about wine ???

PP Al & Meghan are head of the Beer Garden .....
Cleone head of the Kids Fun Zone - Cleone had a map of the Fun Zone and there is a TON of great activities going on there. Interact is playing a big part in the Fun Zone this year.
Re-cycling - Bill is organizing and looks like the Scouts are helping out
Vibe co-ordinators - Coreen is heading up this area. There will be a great 'vibe' in the park when it is nice a clean.
Gayle - Rib Runners.......Gayle & Jeannie are heading to Penticton to see how the system works.

Trudy - Volunteers .....AND we need lots of volunteers. If you know of anyone who would like to be a volunteer, please have them sign up on the website or send us their information and we will assign them shifts when they are available. WE can not put this event on without hundreds of VOLUNTEERS. Please ask all your friends and family to help us out and if you know of any 'teams' please have them contact us.
