Wilshire Rotary's Dynamic Speaker Series Presents

Gaby Sumpter
 Youth Exchange
International Studies in Spain

Rotary Youth Exchange is the opportunity of a lifetime for the more than 8,000 students who participate each year.

Gaby recently returned from spending her junior year on exchange in Santander, Spain where she was able to emerge herself by learning and living the culture, make lasting relationships and traveling to ten other European countries with other Rotary exchange students. Gaby often refers to her experience on exchange as a year she will never forget and encourages everyone, no matter what age to spend time away from their home country and culture. She is very grateful to Wilshire Rotary Club for sponsoring her exchange.

Gaby will finish her senior year at The Archer School for Girls this fall. She already has an impressive high school resume. Her activities include dance, theater, tennis, debate team and served as a class representative in school government. Gaby also volunteers at the Museum of Tolerance, Los Angeles Public Library (Rancho Park Branch) and P.U.S.H to Win Outreach Inc.

Gaby will share with us her extraordinary year abroad as a Rotary Foreign Exchange Student on Wednesday, July 29 at the beautiful, elegant, and historic Ebell of Los Angeles.
