The annual Literacy Breakfast will focus on "Peace Literacy: The future of peace in the classroom and the community." Our keynote speaker is Paul Chappell, an international peace educator, speaker and author. He has authored six books and serves as the Peace Literacy Director for the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation. He is a West Point graduate, former army captain and Iraq War veteran. Paul grew up in a violent household and struggled with trauma throughout his school years. He created Peace Literacy to help all students and adults work towards their full potential and a more peaceful world.

Cost to attend is $10/person and includes a continental breakfast. Rotarian early registration is open until September 1. Registration opens to the general public from September 1-11.
