Judge Judith Chirlin, Ret.
Resolving conflicts in schools and neighborhoods

Judge Chirlin is a recognized expert in international law and conflict resolution.  During her service as a Superior Court Judge, she served as president of the prestigious American Judicature Society, and was regularly called upon by the U.S. State Department to assist developing nations in writing their constitutions and basic laws.  Several years ago, she left a United Nations Building in Baghdad just two hours before it was bombed.  Judge Chirlin now serves as Executive Director of the Western Justice Foundation.  She received her undergraduate degree from The George Washington University, a master's degree in political science from Rutgers University, and her law degree at USC Law School, where she has served on the adjunct faculty in clinical legal studies.
