Last time we were at the Friendly Thai, there was a lot of positive feedback on the food tastiness. We have booked space in the large room of the Friendly Thai restaurant for Thursday evening to welcome back our long lost President. He has been away so long and can't wait so see you all! Spouses and partners are most welcome. Everyone pays their own way. If you wish to view the menu in advance, check out menu items numbered 1 to 43 at http://friendlythairestaurant.ca/fried-rice-main-dishes Please register by noon on Wednesday so that we can provide the Friendly Thai with an accurate headcount. |

Hello Rotarians!
The Rotary Foundation (TRF) luncheon is focused on Polio eradication. Please promote attendance and the donation of auction items within your clubs. Event Details: - Location: SC Golf Course, Roberts Creek - Timing: 11:30 AM (Meet & Greet) | 12:00 PM (Program Starts) - Cost: $40 per person (all-inclusive) - Program: World Polio update, silent auction, and live dessert auction. Income tax receipts will be issued to all auction item donors, with proceeds going to TRF's Polio fund. Please notify Terry Miller of your club's attendance numbers approximately one week before the event. To simplify organization, each club should collect meal payments from its members and submit a single combined payment to the Sunshine Coast Rotary Club. Also, please let me know which silent auction items your Club will contribute. Furthermore, ask members willing to create a dessert for the live auction to advise Carole Murray (of my Rotary Club) at 604-817-4281
We appreciate your cooperation.

She has volunteered for wildfire deployment support, including travelling to Kelowna during devastating wildfire seasons to assist communities in crisis.Beyond emergency services, Lisa volunteers as a board member for the Sunshine Coast Foundation and will soon chair the Grants Committee, helping direct vital funding to organizations and initiatives that strengthen the community.
