(Abbotsford, BC) – The Rotary Club of Abbotsford is pleased to announce the installation of Leslie McConnell as President of the Rotary Club of Abbotsford, effective July 1, 2015.  Leslie has been a member of the Rotary Club of Abbotsford since 2008 and has served on the Board as Treasurer and President-Elect.
 
An active and committed Rotarian, Leslie is also the Principal Partner of MNP, a national Public Accounting Firm. She works with owner managed businesses, with a niche in agriculture. A resident of Abbotsford since 1996 with her husband and daughters, Leslie has served her community in a number of ways. Most recently, she served as a director on the Abbotsford Hospice Board for seven years.
 
“I look forward to being the President of the Rotary Club of Abbotsford, it is such an honor to do so,” says Leslie. She goes on to say, “the Rotary theme during my presidential is ‘Be a Gift to the World’, we are urged to give the gift of time, talent and knowledge to improve lives in communities across the globe. This theme describes some of the reasons I joined Rotary seven years ago and most certainly describes the Rotary Club of Abbotsford.”
