Joe Garcia, MBA Is the Executive Director for the Cristo Rey Community Center (CRCC) since September 2013. Cristo Rey Community Center (CRCC) is a BASIC NEEDS safety net organization open to ANYONE in need! Our focus is on FOOD access, MEDICAL & COUNSELING services, and financial literacy for low income, vulnerable populations.An experienced business executive level administrator, Garcia previously served as Director of MBA Career Service at Michigan State University, fostering mutually beneficial relationships with businesses nationwide. For the 12 years before his position at MSU, Garcia held positions as an account executive, regional sales manager, sales director and vice president of sales in the telecommunications industry. As a business executive, Garcia understands what it takes to get to the commitment phase of collaborative business relationships.
Joe also has small business management experience as an owner and operator of three small businesses (fitness centers).
Garcia earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Northwood University in Midland, Michigan, and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Communications and Spanish from Western Michigan University.
