This Cocktail/Theatre Fundraising event features a performance of "The Scrooge Diary".
The Scrooge Diary is a one man stage show that was devised, adapted, and is performed by London based actor, Phil Arnold. This production premiered in 2000 at London's Old Factory Theatre, and has subsequently been performed in Canada, US, and the U.K. The Scrooge Diary follows closely the annual favorite penned by Charles Dickens but this is not a static reading of the story. Phil Arnold manages to capture the fundamental essence of the tale while playing all of Dickens characters (even the recorded voices are performed by Arnold). The small stage will hold six pieces of furniture, and Arnold makes full use of these pieces as he takes the audience on a memorable trip through Victorian England.
