We Have A New Member! He Had A Unique Installation Experience!

   Those newest members were from various clubs in the three districts D6420, D6440, and D6450, the hosts and sponsors of the banquet meet-and-greet event with about 250 attending. One was Ed Cruickshank, Mundelein, who is now a member of our Club. Ed and his wife Stephanie are shown above. Our members who were also in attendance were delighted to have their first social event with the Cruickshanks and were also proud to have Ed receive this unique initiation into the Rotary Club. 

   Another source of pride was the fact that Bill Ferreira, Past District Governor, was instrumental in nurturing this event to a success, having originally invited President Huang to attend this special event and having been one of the prime organizers. Bill was privileged to introduce President Huang to the banquet attendees before the entertaining and inspirational speech centered on the year's Rotary theme, Light Up Rotary, was delivered.
