Members of the Rotary Club of Long Grove, Kildeer and Hawthorn Woods gathered on Friday, June 14th, to donate and pack food for the food pantry at St. Mary's Parish in Buffalo Grove. Participating members included: Don Biciste, Fran and Ross Spencer, Sara Knight, Greg Cardelli, Lyle Staab, and Jim Dopler. The St. Vincent de Paul Society is the charitable outreach program that sponsors the monthly food pantry. The Club packed 120 boxes of food this year. The Rotary Club donates time and financial resources to several projects each year that address hunger in our local communities.
