Jim Runnfeldt, a charter member of the Rotary Club of Long Grove, Kildeer, and Hawthorn Woods, lifelong Rotarian, friend to many, and loving father, passed away on April 13th.  His daughter Kelly asked us to share the following message with his Rotary family:

Hello Everyone,

Jay and I wanted to let you all know that Dad passed away peacefully last night.

As many of you know, his cancer had become incredibly aggressive and he was admitted to the ICU at the University of Chicago two weeks ago.  He was moved to the Marshak Family Hospice Care Center in Glenview this past weekend where the family was able to spend quality time with him before he passed.

We feel very fortunate for the care that he received, especially with hospice, as the people that surrounded us his last few days allowed us all to feel at peace.

The visitation and memorial will take place on Friday, April 29th in the Chapel at Willow Creek Community Church located at 67 E. Algonquin Road, South Barrington, IL 60010.

Visitation: 9:00AM - 10:45AM
Memorial Service: 11:00AM

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rotary International, see attachment, or Willow Creek Community Church 67 E. Algonquin Road, South Barrington, IL 60010 with James H. Runnfeldt noted in the memo.

Please feel free to forward on this email.

We thank you for your thoughts and prayers at this time,
Jay Runnfeldt and Kelly Zima
