We turned 100 in 2020!
The Rotary Club of Evanston will proudly celebrate its Centennial during 2020, with a variety of special events and initiatives.

We celebrated our official birthday, May 1, 2020, with a gala online event, which included remarks from Rotary International President Mark Maloney. You can watch a recording of the online gala here

During the year to come, you will hear more from us as we observe this important year in our history and share opportunities for the local community to celebrate with us.

We are grateful for the generosity and support provided by leaders in the community and businesses, for without their generous donations of time and resources, we would not have been able to invest in communities, locally, and globally, as we have over the years.

To learn more about our past, visit our brief history of the Rotary Club of Evanston. You can also watch a special video about the club's history here. Later this year we'll be adding much more historical information about the club at this website.

During this special year, we will continue to serve Evanston with both hands-on volunteering and by raising funds to support worthy causes – including our long tradition of providing academic and vocational scholarships for young Evanstonians.

You will also hear more about a new initiative we are launching, aimed specifically at the issue of food insecurity in our community. As Rotarians, we will also continue to support global efforts to eradicate polio.

Stay tuned for more as our special year continues!
