Every year hundreds of Seniors (and not of the high school variety) in our community are invited to the Civic Center for a day of freebies, giveaways, various medical screenings, games etc. The event is free to the public, and we provide lunch to those that attend. El Chico caters the Event and this year's menu was chicken fajita salad, tomatoes, guacamole, beans, chips, salsa, tea and the crowd favorite brownie.As the Seniors and their guests come in, Rotarians served each of them a boxed lunch, a cup of beans and a drink. This is some of the many things our hard work and earnings in August at Shrimp Boil pays for! Thank you to all who helped make this event a huge success!
