Update From Scholarship Recipients
Scholarship Chair John Caldwell recently received updates from 3 of our outstanding scholarship award recipients: Colleen Carmichael and twins Vanessa and Jessica Silverstein.
Colleen continues to pursue her Econ major and is applying her education with on-site employment.
Her position in the UCLA clothing, make-up and accessories store provides an opportunity to analyze demographics, trends and stock reports. Vendors present new lines of products that are evaluated for their store. She is also involved with a class on slang expressions creating a database that will be published and she will be one of the authors. She thanks us again for our continued financial assistance.
