The Greater Newburgh Rotary Annual Hoops & Swish Charity Challenge Is Cancelled

In light of the COVID-19 Virus outbreak, The Greater Newburgh Rotary has cancelled the Hoops & Swish Charity Challenge event scheduled for April 4, 2020.

The Greater Newburgh Rotary Annual Hoops & Swish Charity Challenge held at the Newburgh Free Academy is cancelled. To prevent the further spread of the COVID-19 Virus outbreak, the Greater Newburgh Rotary has cancelled this year's Hoops & Swish Charity Challenge.

All donations and sponsorships directed to this charity event will in part go towards efforts to help to feed the children of the Greater Newburgh School District whose classes have been cancelled for two weeks beginning March 16, 2020.

The Hoops and Swish Basketball Fun-Raiser is it a healthy clean activity, especially for our youth! This community event benefits the Greater Newburgh community and raises monies for YOUR charity: 

• Local business / not for profits or friends can simply sponsor the event or form a team to raise money. 
• Each team raises money by securing donations for their charity. Then the day of the event, your team shoots baskets for their chosen charity.
