JA in a Day/Ruby Hill Elementary

Junior Achievement Mission: "To prepare young people to thrive in the 21st century workplace and global economy by inspiring a passion in free enterprise and entrepreneurship, and instilling an understanding of personal financial literacy."

We need volunteers on Friday, May 12th, for JA in a Day at Ruby Hill Elementary. You will be in a K-3 classroom presenting the JA program. There are 5 modules that will be presented in approximately 45 min segments. The teacher/aide will be in the classroom. You will present financial /entrepreneurship concepts to the students, there are hands on activities for the students. You will be provided a kit by JA that contains all the materials necessary.

We will have a JA in a Day training on Friday, April 28th at 11:00 am. It will be at Cody Dental Group (4301 E Amherst). Lunch will be provided. If you have a conflict, online training is available.

There are 12 classrooms (3 per grade) and would like to have 2 members per classroom.

A critique session will be held afterwards at an establishment that provides liquid refreshments and appetizers (location to be determined).Please sign up for a truly rewarding experience.
