The Rotary Club of Kirkland held a special holiday happy hour meeting online on December 28, 2020.
Attending were our host, Rick Walter, our president, James Nevers, and Dave Aubry, Dave DeBois, Bill Taylor, Mike Hunter, Gary Cohn, Steve Shinstrom, John Pruitt, Rich Bergdahl, Rick Ostrander, Dan Bartel, Monica Fratita, and Scott Becker.
The happy hour began at 6:15 p.m. We were joined by several guests: Sandy Taylor, Anna Aubry, Janet Pruitt, Peggy Ostrander, Patty Shinstrom, Nan Bergdahl, and Diana Lanspa.
Happy Bucks:
Happy Bucks were a large part of the evening’s gathering. Many of our members continued the holiday giving spirit through this Happy Hour Happy Bucks opportunity: Dave Aubry, Dan Bartel, Scott Becker, Rich Bergdahl, Dave DeBois, Mike Hunter, James Nevers, Rick Ostrander, John Pruitt, Steve Shinstrom, Bill Taylor, and Rick Walter. In total, $940 was pledged to the Club and the Foundation. Thank you for your generosity!
Program:
Rick Walter organized a happy hour program, loaded with trivia, for the club members attending. James Nevers and Dave DeBois were the big winners for the first two rounds, James with answers to questions about countries in Asia, and Dave on Kevin Costner top 40 movies. Nobody won the third round, which featured questions about Frank Sinatra and Neil Diamond.
The meeting adjourned at about 8:05 p.m.
