RYLA Class of 2015
Today, the successful graduates of Rotary Youth Leadership Awareness (RYLA) class of 2015 came to Sunnyvale Rotary. Students attend a five-day leadership camp experience sponsored by Rotary. These students, from Homestead and Milpitas High Schools, were sponsored by Sunnyvale Rotary and the Homestead Interact Club. RYLA sessions included Social Justice, Time Management, Service, Leadership, Health and Wellness, and - oh yes - Entertainment! Students shared their expectations, experiences and challenges. During the meeting, the students entertained with an impromptu song and dance? Rotary Jeff Olevson and Michelle Lewis are the co-Chairs of the Youth Services Committee.
