Brown Bag Lunch
Sep. 07, 2016
Wendat's Executive Director, Lorna Tomlinson, will meet us for our regular lunch meeting for a tour through their new Seniors' Residence.
When you arrive at the facility, proceed through the lobby to the central courtyard where we will eat lunch.
As discussed, this is a 'brown-bag lunch' in support of The Rotary Foundation (TRF). Please bring your own lunch to the facility. Every active Rotarian will be billed for the meal and your $20 will be sent to TRF as a donation in your name.
Please arrive for our regular meeting start of 12:15 PM.
Address: 44 Dufferin Street, Penetanguishene.

This will be our fist off-site fellowship meeting of the year! You are encouraged to register early as Explorer's can only accommodate 70 people.
This event will act as our regular weekly meeting as well as your regularly billed meal; therefore the cost is covered for attending Rotarian's.You are encouraged to bring a guest and you will be billed at $20 per person as usual.
The agenda will ensure that the meeting meets the criteria for a regular Club meeting; but we will be limiting announcements and will not have a guest speaker.
The menu is typical Explorer's style:
Proposed Menu:
Woolwich Dairies goat cheese, roasted tomato, fresh basil, and honey canapé
Smoked Georgian Bay whitefish and garlic pâté, cucumber, golden whitefish caviar
Harvest vegetable gazpacho with a local prosciutto swizzle
Fried Lafontaine potato rounds with duck confit, a Bala cranberry gastrique and fried sage
You will be able to enjoy these dishes with a fantastic selection of Ontario wines and specialty cocktails featuring local spirits and ingredients; please be aware that cocktails will billed in addition to the $20 per person meal cost.
We look forward to seeing you there for a fantastic evening of food, drink, and fellowship!

Dec. 01, 2016 5:00 p.m.
It's the most wonderful time of the year! Hamper Night is a tradition where our club gets together at the MCC with family and friends and we work as a team putting together boxes of food to be donated to those in need. It's a fun time and a feel good team effort time. This event is in lieu of our regular Rotary meeting, which would have been Wednesday November 30th. We will have open bar and maybe Santa Claus? Wouldn't that be fun! Each and every Rotarian is charged $50 as this money goes towards the purchase of the Hampers as well as feeding the crowd! Your guests are welcomed, free of charge. Please RSVP for this great event of feel good fellowship.
